A Next Gen Firewall moves beyond port/protocol inspection and blocking by adding app-level inspection, intrusion prevention and bringing intelligence from outside the firewall so it can learn for future attacks. Any intrusion or malware will be blocked through dynamic analysis and periodic security updates.
Virtual means no need for complex hardware, as well as less human error. To ensure this, our self-management website gives you the ultimate user experience. From our website you can access the Virtual Services Catalogue, choose what you need through the Drag & Drop system, calculate your budget and with just one click you can monitor the service from the same place. A complete portal to see in real time the situation of your network.
For years we’ve been curating all the services that you may need in your daily business.
The Virtual Firewall service is based on an NFV architecture implemented in the backbone. Nodes (NFH) have been implemented to allocate computing resources close to the IP / MPLS network, so that the VNF can be installed on these virtualized network elements.
The nodes (NFH) are connected to the backbone through connectivity. This connectivity will be a single deployment for all services or VNFs, and will be loaded on this infrastructure.
The provider of the Virtual Firewall is Fortinet and has the following elements:
-Fortigate Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
-FortiManager integrated platform for centralized management in an infrastructure
-FortiPortal: Carrier-Grade Managed-Self-Service Portal that enables TGS to provide centralized traffic analysis, configuration management, and log retention.
We facilitate the insertion of a Virtual Firewall into the traffic paths in any connectivity services TGS provides.
