THE CHALLENGE
Our customer is a large European operator offering a wide range of communications solutions including Fixed, Mobile, Internet, Networks and Cloud, as well as IoT solutions for different industry sectors such as energy, transportation and security.
With such a broad portfolio, not to mention a growing mobile subscriber base, it was looking for a partner that could offer high quality, reliable connectivity to deliver the services its customers demanded, whilst from a commercial point of view being able to adapt to the extreme situation created by the Covid-19 crisis.
THE SOLUTION
We delivered a dedicated and redundant connection to our global Tier-1 network enabling our customer to transport 3G, 4G as well as future 5G roaming traffic.
As a one-stop shop for Signalling & Roaming services, we provide IPX connectivity in multiple bandwidths enabling us to meet all customer demands, large or small. In this case we provided a port connection with up to 100 Gbps capacity which could handle roaming traffic exchange with more than 500 roaming partners.

Our solution also included our carrier LTE Diameter signalling service delivering the routing and connectivity necessary for 4G. This helped our customer to respond to the challenges of the Covid crisis, whilst online reporting also made it easier to manage their activities.
THE RESULTS
Our customer was satisfied that we provided the capacity and resilience required to meet its international traffic demands. Critically, we also offered a flexible commercial model based on consumption, totally adapted to the extreme pandemic situation.
